The PRO 3 said the PNP wants to ensure that police officers are "clean and not using illegal drug."
During the meeting, Fajardo presented the directives of the newly-installed PNP Chief, Gen Nicolas D. Torre III.

In connection to this, the PRO 3 director ordered police stations to reactivate their respective radio communication systems and other equipment to ensure readiness in any situation.
Fajardo also vowed to implement the Torre's directive on eight-hour duty policy for policemen, consisting of three shift schedules: 6 AM–2 PM, 2 PM–10 PM, and 10 PM–6 AM.
She said this move is aimed to protect the health and efficiency of policemen.
She urged police commanders to ensure the implementation of the new directives.
