MAYOR Edwin “EdSa” Santiago praised medical and non-medical frontliners in the City Government of San Fernando for their bravery in battling Covid-19 during their tribute on December 16, 2020, at the Heroes Hall.

“Sa loob ng halos sampung buwan ngayong taon, hindi kayo sumuko. Hindi niyo pinabayaan ang mga Fernandino, higit sa lahat nakiisa kayo sa mga programa ng lokal na pamahalaan sa laban ng Covid-19. Walang hanggang pasasalamat para sa inyong mabuting puso at dedikasyon sa inyong sinumpaang tungkulin,” Santiago said in his message.

Dubbed “Pasasalamat sa mga Frontliners Hatid ng Ating City Mayor,” the local government held a short program for all the frontliners who worked with urgency and dedication in fighting Covid-19.

Dr. Renely Tungol, city health officer-in-charge and incident commander of the Incident Management Team, expressed her gratitude to all frontliners for their efforts and initiatives that resulted in seamless implementation of health protocols in the capital city.

As recognition for their hard work, Santiago gave them certificates of appreciation and gift certificates. (SunStar Pampanga)
