ELEMENTS of the City of San Fernando Police Station, led by Lieutenant Colonel John Clark, conducted anti-illegal gambling operations in Barangays Bulaon and San Juan over the weekend that resulted in the arrest of 10 suspects who were engaged in alleged illegal cockfighting.
Clark said six suspects were arrested in Barangay Bulaon and they were identified as Randy Sermiento, Daisy Aguas, Van Angelo Sarmiento, Anjo Tan, Angelica Tan, and Evangelito Tan.
Confiscated from their possession were P1,300 and two fighting cocks.
A separate operation in Barangay San Juan also resulted in the arrest of suspects Cipriano Buan, Joel Bautista, Jose Pascual and Romel Pamintuan.
Confiscated from the suspects were five fighting cocks, six gaffs, and P85,010.
The suspects are now under the custody of City of San Fernando Police Station for filling of appropriate charges.
