CLARK FREEPORT -- Pins and balls are ready to welcome bowlers once again as SM Bowling Center Clark reopened on December 4.

The bowling center has reopened with safety precautions in place including wearing of face masks and face shield for both staff and guests, checking of body temperature, and filling out of health declaration forms.

Aside from these protocols, SM Bowling Center Clark Branch Manager Jason De Jesus said four people are allowed per lane for now.

“Each player will be assigned his/her own bowling balls during the game, players have to stay with their assigned lane, and they have to maintain physical distance while they are inside the bowling center,” De Jesus said.

De Jesus said after each game, used bowling balls, seats and tables are all disinfected.

Bowlers are still required to wear rented bowling shoes, which De Jesus assured undergo proper disinfection with the use of disinfection sprays and ultraviolet (UV) lights. Bowling shoes are stored in a UV cabinet after use.

Aside from bowling, billiard tables are also open at the SM Bowling Center.

De Jesus said billiard balls and sticks also undergo disinfection after use.

SM Bowling Center is located at the second floor of SM City Clark, across Wellness Zone.
