Youth leader supports Go's presidential bid

A YOUTH leader and standard-bearer of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) party in Masantol town, Pampanga expressed support to Senator Christopher "Bong" Go's bid for presidency in the coming 2022 polls.

Patrol Youth National Chairperson and mayoralty bet Jose Antonio “Ton Ton" Bustos hailed the move of Go to step up and take the challenge of continuing the legacy of outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte.

"Senator Go is an answered prayer to us Filipinos who seek sustainability on the outstanding programs started by President Duterte. His win will be a win to all Filipinos who wants a community free of illegal drugs, and to continuously walk on the streets without fear," he said.

Bustos, who is the PDP-Laban's youngest mayoralty bet in the province, also added that the candidacy of Go gives hope to Filipinos, especially Masantoleños, who continue to dream for a lasting change in the country.

He urged fellow youth to choose and vote wisely in the coming elections as the next leaders will be crucial in sustaining the progress initiated by the Duterte administration.

As an aspiring chief executive of his hometown, Bustos also vowed to download the Duterte projects, especially on peace and order and infrastructure, and Go's social programs in Masantol.

"This is our chance to get our voice heard so let's come together and be united in electing the leader that is needed by our country," he said.
