Magalang town Mayor Malu Paras-Lacson took her oath of office for a second term on Monday, June 30.
Outgoing Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda administered Lacson’s oath-taking at the San Bartolome Parish Church.
In her speech, Lacson recognized Pineda as her mentor in politics.
“Thank you for administering my oath today. Your presence, your faith in me, your constant guidance, they mean more than words can ever say,” she said.
Newly-elected Vice Mayor Eller Pecson and the 12th Sangguniang Bayan members also took their respective oath of offices, along with Pampanga First District Board Members 1st District Board Members Cherry Manalo and Christian Halili.
Lacson has called on her new fellow officials for unity in providing the best public service to all Magaleños.
