Policemen in Porac town arrested on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, a man involved in illegal drugs trade.
Police said the suspect yielded two grams of marijuana and an unlicensed firearm.
The suspect arrested during the buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Pio of said town.
The town police later discovered the suspect was also behind the robbery and assault of a senior citizen in Barangay San Agustin in the City of San Fernando (CSF) earlier.
The suspect was detained at the Porac Police Station. He is facing charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunitions Act.
Through his social media, Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda announced on Wednesday the arrest of man allegedly reponsible for a series of robbery at Sitio Pigulut in Barangay San Agustin, City of San Fernando.
"Ang suspek sa pananakit at pagnanakaw sa mga senior citizens sa Sitio Pigulut, Barangay San Agustin sa City of San Fernando ay nasakote na po ng Pampanga provincial police sa aking utos kay Col. Jay Dimaandal," the governor stated in his social media account. "Nahaharap po siya ng mga patong-patong na kaso pati sa illegal drugs. Marami pong salamat sa ating mga kapulisan, lalo na sa Porac at CSF."
