The 3rd Manyaman Festival, scheduled on April 23, will be an exposition of Pampanga's rich cultural and gastronomic legacy to the nation and the international community.

This was disclosed by Board Member Lim, who underscored the importance of preserving and promoting the province's culinary traditions.

In a recent press conference, Lim, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Culture and Arts chair, emphasized the significance of the event as a tribute to the province's rich cultural identity.

The event carries the theme "Pamana ng Lasa, Pamana ng Kultura" (Legacy of Taste, Legacy of Culture).

Lim highlighted Provincial Ordinance 863, a culinary ordinance that celebrates Filipino and Kapampangan cuisine.

“This festival is more than just a celebration of food; it is a heartfelt tribute to the identity and spirit of Pampanga,” Lim said.

The official emphasized that every dish tells a story of the province’s history, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage passed down through generations.

She also recognized the vital role of the media in amplifying these stories and awareness about Pampanga's culinary excellence.

"As members of the press, you help bring the taste and soul of Pampanga to wider audiences — not just locally, but globally as well," she said.

Lim thanked their media partners for their continuous support.

She also underscored the commitment of the provincial government to celebrate and sustain the culinary legacy of the province.

The board member urged the next generation of chefs and culinary artists to take pride in their heritage and continue to innovate.

“We hope this event will inspire more people to explore, appreciate, and share the unique flavors of Pampanga,” she added.

Lim also invited the press and all attendees to immerse in the diverse experiences that the Manyaman Festival offers.
