GMA 7's Queen of Prime time series Marian Rivera's "Balota" shown on Netflix placed No 1 in the Philippines.
The Cinemalaya 2024 entry of Marian is the first Pinoy movie to rank Number 1 among the Top 10 movies on Netflix PH this year.
The first Pinoy movies that streamed on Netflix PH is the Cinemalaya 2024 entry of Jane Oneiza and RK Bagatsing film "Love Child".
However, Netflix subscribers didn't like the movie much that it reached its peak at third place for three consecutive days, and afterwards it began to rank last.
The "Friendly Fire" of Loisa Andalio, Coleen Garcia, Yves Flores, and Harvey Bautista started streaming last January 24 at the third place for eight consecutive days, afterwards it was in fourth place.
Meanwhile, "Tamang Panahon" of Alex Calleja will stream on Feb 7. Then on Feb 13 will be the streaming of the Pinoy highest-grossing film of all time, the reunion movie of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, "Hello, Love, Again".
Also in the line up for streaming is the controversial team up of MaThon tandem of Maris Racial and Anthony Jennings "Sosyal Climbers".
"Kontrabida Academy" of Eugene Domingo and Barbie Forteza, and "One Hit Wonder" of Sue Ramirez and Khalil Ramos will also stream soon.
