A total of 311,062 families or 996,385 people, across 380 barangays in Pampanga have been affected by flooding and other impacts of weather disturbances, according to the provincial government.
The figures were based on the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office report as of 11 a.m. on August 22.
The residents struggle amid the effects of Tropical Depressions Luis, Maymay and Neneng.
The Capitol said flooding was reported in several municipalities due to continuous rainfall, high tide, overflowing rivers and creeks, poor drainage systems, and water coming from upstream.
Despite the widespread flooding, the situational report recorded no casualties or injuries.
The provincial government said it has activated its disaster operations and command centers and placed response equipment and personnel on 24-hour standby.
The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) said it assisted in evacuations of residents, provided sandbags and modular tents, transported patients, and conducted relief operations in affected areas.
The province has been placed under a state of calamity since August 12, 2026 by virtue of Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 06, Series of 2026.
