Authorities arrested a murder suspect during an operation in Floridablanca town on Friday June 6.
The suspect, a 37-year-old truck driver from Barangay Calantas, Floridablanca, was apprehended by personnel of the Floridablanca Municipal Police Station, Pampanga Provincial Intelligence Team, and the 302nd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3.
Police said the suspect is facing a murder under Criminal Case No. G-25-19260.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 51 Presiding Judge Merideth D. Delos Santos-Malig on March 25, 2025. No bail was recommended for the suspect.
Police confirmed that the individual was listed as the top most wanted person in the Central Luzon.
The suspect is currently under police custody and awaiting court proceedings.
Colonel Jay Dimaandal, director of Pampanga Police Provincial Director said that the coordination of police units resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
“The arrest of Central Luzon’s top most wanted person is a testament to the determination, skill, and professionalism of our police force. It underscores the importance of intelligence-driven policing and strong inter-unit coordination,” said Dimaandal.
