
The Rotary Club of Dolores marked a leadership transition during its 47th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies held on June 2, 2025 in the City of San Fernando.
Albert Lacanlale was sworn in as president for Rotary Year 2025–2026 by Rotary International District 3790 Governor Dan Torres.
Lacanlale succeeded outgoing president Maureen Gueco.
The new RC Dolores president, a seasoned media professional, is the operations manager of SunStar Pampanga, co-host of the daily public affairs program Talakayan Ngayon on dwRW 95.1 FM, and the vice president of the Central Luzon Media Association.
In his inaugural speech, Lacanlale underscored the importance of unity and collective action in advancing the club’s goals.
“Let this be the beginning of a new era of understanding and shared purpose,” he said.
Lacanlale urged fellow Rotarians to uphold the club’s theme, Unite for Good, by fostering strong collaboration and a deeper commitment to public service.
He also called on members to work together in sustaining the club’s legacy of service and to focus on initiatives that promote lasting impact in the community.
The ceremony also featured the signing of sisterhood agreements with Rotary Club of Sae Songtan of RI District 3750, and Rotary Club of Baguio Summer Capital.
