The Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) said it is "fully prepared to ensure a safe, peaceful, and orderly election in the province."

A total of 552 candidates are running for 222 positions, including congressional, provincial, city, and municipal posts, according to the PPO

Some 1,463,013 registered voters in Pampanga will cast their votes in 8,856 precincts, grouped into 1,817 clusters across 511 voting centers, the provincial police office said.

The PPO disclosed that 19 areas in Pampanga are classified as “Green” (peaceful), while only 2 areas are under the “Yellow” category (areas of concern).

"There are no areas under the more serious “Orange” or “Red” categories, showing that the province is generally safe as election day approaches," it added.

To secure the elections, some 1,786 police officers will be deployed around the province, the PPO said.

Some 1,022 of them will be assigned to polling centers, according to the province police office.

It added that the other cops will support logistics, secure COMELEC and Treasurer’s Offices, handle election complaints, and guard checkpoints and borders.

Some 331 officers will stay on standby for emergency response. Out of the PPO’s 1,712 personnel, 1,670 are available for deployment.

"Some are on leave, sick, or temporarily reassigned. To fill the gap, help came from the Regional Headquarters, Angeles City Police, and personnel in training. This filled the shortage of 116 personnel, achieving full deployment," the PPO said.

In addition to this, 477 personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) will be dispatched to help in maintaining peace and order during the elections.

Colonel Jay Dimaandal, director of the PPO, assured the public of their readiness.

“We have been preparing for months, and now, with just days before the elections, we are confident in our plans and our people. Our mission is clear—to safeguard the democratic rights of every Kapampangan. We are doing this not just as police officers, but as public servants committed to peace, fairness, and integrity. We will ensure that voters can go to polling centers without fear, that votes will be cast and counted without interference, and that those who attempt to disrupt the process will be dealt with swiftly and lawfully. With the support of our partner agencies and the cooperation of our communities, we stand ready to protect democracy, serve the people, and guard the future," he said.
