

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said it confiscated 850 grams of shabu and arrested two persons in two separate operations in Pampanga and Bulacan recently.
On July 28, Satar, 26, a native of Lanao Del Norte, was arrested by PDEA men during a buy-bust operation in an open mall parking lot in the City of San Fernando.
The agents seized from the suspect seven plastic bags containing 700 grams of shabu, buy-bust money, and other pieces of evidence.
The agency said the suspect faces charges for a non-bailable offense under section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) with a penalty of life imprisonment under Republic Act 9165.
In Balagtas, Bulacan, Rosa, 44, and Tere, 65, were arrested by PDEA agents inside a fast food chain at Barangay Borol 1st on July 28.
Confiscated from the two were 150 grams of shabu contained in three sachets, and the marked money used by the undercover PDEA agent.
The agency said the suspects were tagged as high-value targets and under surveillance since the first week of July.
A non-bailable offense under section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to section 26B (conspiracy to sell drugs) under Republic Act 9165 are set to be filed by authorities against the duo. (With reports from Princess Clea Arcellaz)
