Police seize P1.6-M drugs in Pampanga, Bataan ops

Units of the Central Luzon police confiscated some P1.6 million worth of shabu in several operations conducted in Pampanga and Bataan provinces on Monday, April 28.

One “Saudi Boy,” 40, was caught in an operation conducted by operatives of the Sta. Rita police, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Barangay San Isidro, Sta. Rita, Pampanga.

Seized from the suspect were 179 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,217,200, a SYM 100 motorcycle, and a black Realme cellphone.

In Angeles City, a team from the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit, City Intelligence Unit and Police Station 4 nabbed “Joma” and “Bonsai”in Barangay Malabanias.

Confiscated from the duo during the buy-bust operation were five grams of shabu worth P34,000.

On the afternoon of the same day, operatives of the Drug Enforcement Unit of Dinalupian police arrested one “JC” in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Saguing, Dinalupihan, Bataan,.

The suspects yielded five sachets of shabu with a total weight of 65 grams worth about P442,000.

The suspects face charges of violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, authorities said.
