Clark hosted the Philippine leg of the 2025 global karting competition, ROK Asia Cup Philippines 5, on July 19- 20 at the Clark International Speedway (CIS).

The sports event was spearheaded by Kilton Motors Corporation (KMC) Clark.

ROK Asia Cup Philippines 5 highlighted Rounds 5 and 6 of the 2025 Petron Blaze 100 ROK Cup Philippines and Round 6 of the Tillotson T4 Cup Philippine Series.

The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) said it supports KMC’s efforts to attract more enthusiasts to the Freeport.

KMC Managing Director Johnny Tan said that eight countries participated in the event, fielding a total of 97 competitors.

The foreign teams are from Indonesia, which hosted the previous ROK Cup leg.

The next leg will be held in August 2025 at the KF1 Karting Circuit.

Motorsports and karting enthusiasts are represented by teams from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and South Korea.

The ROK Asia Cup is a premier karting championship in Asia, organized under the ROK Cup banner by Vortex, a division of the Officine Telai Karts (OTK) Kart Group.

The Clark International Speedway (CIS) is one of Asia’s top racing circuits, catering to professional and amateur motorsport fans.

CIS is operated by Kilton Motors Corporation. In 2025, KMC signed two major lease agreements with CDC, adding 11 hectares to its existing 30-hectare lease area.

CDC said KMC is expanding its operations to include new motorsports facilities, featuring an international-standard karting and drag racing track, an off-road and 4x4 terrain area, and an export-oriented assembly plant for race cars, motorcycles, and industrial equipment.
