The city government of San Fernando, Pampanga held a contest dubbed Healthiest Preggy Fernandina, at the WalterMart in Barangay San Agustin on July 29, 2025.
The holding of the event, which champions maternal infant care, is part of the 51st Nutrition Month celebration in the City of San Fernando, the local government said.
The City Nutrition Committee (CNC) and the City Health Office (CHO) said the beauty, strength, and glow of pregnant Fernandino women were highlighted through the "Healthiest Preggy Fernandina" contest.
"It was not just a competition, but also a vibrant platform dedicated to empowering pregnant women, promoting essential prenatal care, and encouraging healthy nutrition for both mom and baby," the city government stated.
“Healthiest Preggy Fernandina” emphasizes that every mom-to-be deserves to feel confident, celebrated, and supported, aligning with programs under Mayor Vilma Caluag’s administration that promote the health and safety of all sectors, especially pregnant women.
Iries Pamintuan of Barangay Quebiawan was crowned Healthiest Preggy Fernandina 2025 winner.
The other winners are Gracelyn Villacruz (Calulut), first runner-up; and Princess Ila Joy Umali (Malpitic), second runner-up.
Special awards were also bestowed upon Jessica Bonda (Del Rosario) winning Best in Casual Wear, Iries Pamintuan (Quebiawan) for Best in Long Gown, and Gracelyn Villacruz (Calulut) for Best in Talent.
Six other contestants received recognition for their participation. (Press Release)
