Shiwen Lim: Case already ‘dismissed’

Embattled 3rd district board member Estelito “Shiwen” Lim, claimed that the estafa cases filed against him were already dismissed by the court.

The official issued the statement after the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Mexico-San Luis issued an arrest warrant against him for alleged estafa on Monday, August 11.

“Dati pa pong case yan, na dismiss na po yan. Nagkaroon kami ng time for settlement yung nga lang di kami nag kasundo sa amount so binalik po ng korte. So bale yung pinag bail naming pinapabalik, kasi na realese na,” Lim told CLTV36 in the vernacular.

The board member claimed that his staff is already looking into the matter.

Lim is currently serving as 3rd district board member in the Pampanga Provincial Board.

The arrest warrant was issued by the court is for three counts of estafa under Article 315, Paragraph 2(a) of the Revised Penal Code.

The warrant, signed by Presiding Judge Richard Gazzingan Evangelista, directed law enforcement agencies to apprehend Lim.

The warrant stated that bail for the release of the accused was set at ₱18,000 for each of the three counts of estafa.
