Most priests are indeed saintly in sacrificing convenience so as to stay in the confessional in wait for penitents desiring to renew their relationship with God. It’s a sacrament that offers no monetary gain and deprives them of immediate food when hungry, internet when bored, leisure of company, among other things that other sacraments do not take away.
But it is a sacrament that instantly lifts wayward souls back to God, and is thus always immediately urgent in a growingly distraught world that offers no guarantee for life longevity. From this premise comes the conclusion that any priest with distaste for the rather boring sacrament and acts accordingly must be anathema in Heaven.
And so I am happy to note that three new confessionals at the repaired church of the Holy Rosary parish in Angeles City, Philippines now offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation starting at 5 p.m. every Saturday. With the coming Holy Week, the number of penitents are expected to rise as in the past, and so I would recommend going to Confession before the long queue of penitents form.
At the same time, I lament certain parishes which, as in last year, do not list the reconciliation sacrament as among the activities lined up for Holy Week.
Amid frightening prophecies that is said to be at the threshold for all, the Blessed Mother stressed the need for all to avail themselves of Confession, as was explicit in her message to Medjugorje visionary Mirjana on March 18, 2025. The message:
“Dear children!
“With motherly love I implore you: give me your hands folded in prayer, give me your hearts cleansed in confession, and I will lead you to my Son. Because, my children, only my Son, with His light, can illuminate the darkness; only He, with His Word, can remove suffering. Therefore, do not be afraid to walk with me, because I am leading you to my Son – Salvation.
“Thank you.” (End of message.)
Meanwhile, Heaven’s recent dreadful prophecies are already evident in what’s happening all over the world.
Credible Catholic mystics who are Heaven’s mouthpieces for the prophecies complement, if not echo each other’s missives. Their messages these days stress the need to prepare…NOW.
Last March 14, stigmatist-mystic Luz de Maria de Bonilla of Argentina received a message from St. Michael the Archangel, and it’s a message made more credible by current events.
I am sharing the message as follows.
“Beloved children of Our King and Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you by God’s Will.
“MY CALL IS TO MEDITATE UPON THE WORD WHICH IS FOUND IN SACRED SCRIPTURE.
“Humanity does not know where to turn when it finds itself without God…
“Without a rudder for its life, humanity is dragged by the Devil to act and work contrary to what makes you think or reflects God…
“This generation has been dragged towards base instincts, consuming itself in sin; young people join groups with radical ideologies, where they delight in making human beings suffer.

“You will experience great calamities, persecutions, repressions, and diseases that arrive by air and which have been spread by man.
“All areas of society are in turmoil, which is why I urge you to commit yourselves to a radical change of life, being creatures of God and people who love Our Queen and Mother.
“It is important for you to have food reserves as each person is able; if it is possible for you, reserves lasting for a few months are the most appropriate.
“The downfall of the economy is coming; make supplies of necessary items, not forgetting –Holy Scripture and your devotional books…
“Sacramentals: blessed water, blessed oil, blessed salt, rosaries, scapulars and medals, and other items associated with your personal devotion. This is for each person to decide.
“THOSE WHO CANNOT MAKE PROVISIONS OF NECESSARY ITEMS SHOULD TRUST IN OUR KING AND LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO WILL SEND THEM WHAT IS NECESSARY.
“Prepare clothing for cold and warm weather while you are in your homes, although for refuges you do not need to bring your belongings.
“BE AWARE THAT THE TIME WILL COME WHEN YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY OR SELL WITHOUT THE SEAL OF THE ANTICHRIST. Do not think that a family member may voluntarily place this seal on themselves to provide for the rest of the family, because this family member will lose their soul and fall into the eternal fire.
“Children of Our King and Lord Jesus Christ, if one of you who are believers in Our King and Lord Jesus Christ is taken by force and against their will in order to be sealed:
