Police arrested a suspected carnapper in Barangay Dau in Mabalacat City on Monday, March 24.
Reports have it that Rafael Narido y Ancheta, 30, of Malolos City, Bulacan, parked his white motorcycle outside an apartment before two men stole it and fled.
The suspects, a 42-year-old and a 37-year-old from Angeles City, took advantage of the unattended vehicle, police said.
Narido sought the help of the Mabalacat Police Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit (TMRU), who were patrolling the area.
Officers conducted a follow-up operation and found the suspects dragging the stolen motorcycle.
The 42-year-old suspect was arrested on the spot, while his companion escaped.
As of Tuesday, police are conducting a manhunt operation to locate the other suspect, who is still at large as of press time.
