His past gives us the impression that newly elected Pope Leo XIV is a living saint. But is he also the Pope prophesied by St. Malachy and the one cited in the Marian apparitions in Fatima and Garabandal?
Pope Leo XIV could have chosen a life of luxury had he chosen to be a lawyer in the US, but he junked Harvard law school in favor of a missionary work as an Augustinian priest in the remotest areas of Peru.
In Peru, he lived in areas where children died from treatable diseases, so that at times he had to transport the sick on a donkey over routes inaccessible to motor vehicles to bring them to the nearest hospital. At times, he walked eight hours to help isolated people who had to trek miles to get potable water.
Where he stayed, there were no roads and no wifi. He had slept on dirt floors of people he served. He taught math to children under broken roofs, while helping families build simple homes.
He truly loved the poorest and even learned not only to speak their dialect but also learn their ancient Inca language….Until his deeds became noticed by the Vatican which imposed on him high duties in the Church until last May 8, the feast of St. Michael the Archangel, when he was elected as the 267th Pope and became the first US-born pontiff.
Interestingly, he chose the name Leo for his pontificate. . The last pope with such name, Leo XIII who was pontiff way back from 1878 to 1903. Leo XIII is known for his vision of God granting Satan’s request for a century to destroy the Catholic church. In reaction, Leo XIII composed the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.
That our current pontiff also chose the name Leo, right on the feast of St. Michael seems to bear heavy meaning. Will it be during his pontifical reign that the trial granted by God to Satan finally ends? And will the ending be of such battle between good and evil that God has allowed Catholic mystics to flourish and warn mankind of the dire consequences of a final denouement?
Catholic pundits see prophetic tones in the papacy of Leo XIV. Could he be St. Malachy’s “Peter the Roman” who will lead the Church through many tribulations after which the “City of Seven Hills” (Rome) will be destroyes and a “dreadful judge” will judge mankind?
Could Leo XIV, and not St. Pope John Paul II, be the “man in white” in the vision of the Fatima visionaries in 1917? The vision was of a bishop in white ascending a mountain with other religious and lay people towards a large cross at the summit. As they approached the cross, the man in white and his companions were killed by arrows and bullets, with angels later gatheriing the blood of the martyrs and spreading them on the souls still struggling to reach Heaven.
While the Vatican had said the vision pertained to the shooting of John Paul II, others disagrees, as the latter survived contrary to the prophecy of the man in white dying.
Could Leo XIV also be the pontiff referred to in the Marian apparitions in Garabandal, Spain from 1961 to 1965. Seer Conchita Gonzalez said that a Pope would visit Moscow and that upon his return to the Vatican, “hostilities will break out in different parts of Europe.” Conchita pointed this out as one of the events that would precede the prophesied Warning, an event that would suspend Nature as each one, including pagans, see the state of their spiritual souls as God sees them as an act of Mercy before a great Chastisement befalls mankind.
Amid an increasingly trying times, Catholics, nay, Christians have to help Pope Leo XIV rudder through the obstacles already laid by Satan and his minions. He must be prayed for.
Despite a world that seemed joyous and united in welcoming the first American Pope, messages from Heaven after his election remain foreboding and some respected Catholic observers of mysticism fear that the new Pope would soon face powerful enemies of the Church. There are even those whose are open to the possibility that Leo XIV would himself become an apostate which, personally, I find improbable.
And so consider the following messages from the Blessed Mother through Brazilian mystic Pedro Regis who, over the years, continue to be supported by his bishop and priests in good standing with the Church.
Messages from Our Lady, Queen of Peace, to Pedro Regis on April 26, 2025
“Dear children, I ask you to keep the flame of your faith alight. The faith is the light that will guide you to Heaven. Be faithful to Jesus. Do not allow the novelties of the world to move you away from the path of truth. You live in a time worse than the time of the Flood. Give Me your hands and I will take care of you. The crown of the king will be stolen and there will be great confusion everywhere.
“ Pray. Seek strength in the Gospel and in the Eucharist. Do not retreat. When all seems lost, the Victory of God will come to you. Onward in love and in defense of the truth. At this moment, I make fall from Heaven upon you an extraordinary shower of graces. Do not throw away the treasures that My Jesus offers you. Onward along the path that I have pointed out to you over these years. This is the message that I transmit to you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to reunite you here once more. I bless you, in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.”
(I am sharing this interpretation by the website that featured Pedro Regis: It explained that the message above “does not refer to a worldly king but indirectly -using secular language though popes through St. John XXIII wore a crown known as the papal tiara- to the one who reigns on earth over the Church. The “chair of Peter” will be stolen either in the upcoming conclave and/or further in the future by the Antichrist who desires to sit on the chair of Peter (after Rome and the Vatican are conquered), as Our Lady of La Salette revealed in 1846. That apparition was approved to the highest degree by the Vatican. The grave situation we are in is highlighted by Our Lady not mentioning the death of Pope Francis, but simply saying ‘torn nets and a great ship adrift’ a day after his death. )

“Dear children, onward without fear! There is no victory without the cross. In the difficult moments of the journey, give Me your hands and I will conduct you to victory. Do not be discouraged.
“Humanity walks spiritually blind, but I have come from Heaven to show you the path of truth. The light of truth will conduct you to the safe harbor of faith. You are living in the time of the great confusion. The truth will be despised and that which is false will be embraced. Discord will be present everywhere.
“Whatever happens, stay with Jesus and do not turn away from His Church. Follow the brave soldiers in cassocks who love and defend the truth, for only thus will you be moved away from the mire of false doctrines. Courage!
