Tangub labing-unang drug-free city sa NorMin

GIPAHIBALO sa Police Regional Office (PRO)-Northern Mindanao nga ang Tangub City sa Misamis Occidental maoy labing unang gideklarar nga drug-free city sa Northern Mindanao.

Matud ni Police Superintendent Surki Sereñas, kinsa tigpamaba sa PRO-Northern Mindanao, nga mismong si Police Brigadier General Timoteo Pacleb ang director sa PRO-NorMin maoy nianunsyu niini didto mismo sa Misamis Occidental.

“Out of the nine cities in Northern Mindanao, I am happy to announce that Tangub City has earned the distinction as the first “drug-free city in Northern Mindanao,” matud ni Pacleb.

Kini atol sa usa ka seremonya nga gihimo sa siyudad ug pag-ila sa malampuson nga paglimpyo sa druga sa siyudad.

Ang deklarasyon migawas human ang Tangub City naka comply sa mga requirements sa Dangerous Drugs Board Resolution No. 03, Series of 2017 kon hain kumpirmadong wala nay supply sa druga sa siyudad; wala nay presensya sa mga den, pusher, ug user sa druga; walay presensya sa laboratoryo sa druga; aktibong partisipasyon sa mga opisyales sa kabarangan kon hisgotan ang anti-drug activities; ang padayon nga pag-edukar o mga drug awareness, preventive education and information; ug aduna gyud voluntary ug compulsory drug treatment ug mga rehabilitation processing desk.

Ang opisyal nga pagdeklarar niini aprobado sab sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) sa pagpangulo ni Dir. Wilkins Villanueva uban sila si Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Dir. Arnel Agabe, Department of Health Dr. Nimfa Torrizo, pulos sa Northern Mindanao, ug Tangub City Mayor Atty. Philip Tan.

“The challenge for Tangub City now is to sustain this status and serve as benchmark for other cities to follow,” kini ang panawagan ni Pacleb.

Magpadayon ang kapolisan nga mag monitor sa Tangub City aron masustiner ang titulo nga gihatag kanila ug magpadayong ang ilang kaikag sa pagpuhag sa ginadili nga druga sa ilang siyudad.
