Sa usa ka Facebook post, gidayeg ni Kongresista Junard “Ahong” Chan si Layug sa iyang paggradwar sa ALS Junior High School.
“She serves as an inspiration to everyone that it's never too late. If success is in your heart, you can truly achieve it, no matter your situation,” matod sa post ni Chan.
Samtang si Konsehal Annabeth Cuizon, chairperson sa Committee on Social Services, Senior Citizens ug PWDs, niingon nga ang Lapu-Lapu City komitido sa paghimo sa edukasyon nga accessible, ilabina alang sa mga out-of-school youth ug hamtong nga mga tinun-an.
“Education is the key to success, and we are committed to ensuring that every learner, regardless of age or background, is supported in their journey,” matod ni Cuizon .
