Kapin sa 9 mil ka mga security personnel nga gipakatap atol sa Midterm Election 2025 ang hingpit na nga nakabalik sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka unit human sa malinawon ug hapsay nga piniliay sa tibuok Central Visayas.
Atol sa eleksyon, moabot ngadto sa 8,268 ka mga police personnel ang gipang-deploy sa Police Regional Office (PRO 7), inabagan sa 937 ka augmentation forces gikan sa Armed Forces of the Pahilippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Maritime Group ug ubang support unit.
Ang maong mga personnel gidestino sa 2,281 ka mga voting centers sa tibuok rehiyon 7 nga naglangkob sa probinsya sa Sugbo ug Bohol lakip ang tulo ka dagkong siyudad sa Cebu, Mandaue ug Lapu-Lapu.
Gihangop usab sa PRO 7 ang pagbalik sa 51 ka nga police personnel nga gipadala sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) aron magsilbing mga Special Electoral Boards.
Si Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan, hepe sa PRO 7, nagpasalamat sa mga security personnel subay sa gipakita niini nga disiplina, professionalism ug commitment sa ilang trabaho.
“The peaceful conduct of the 2025 elections in Central Visayas would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our men and women in uniform. Their sacrifice and vigilance ensured the safety of our voters and upheld the integrity of the electoral process,” matod ni Maranan.
