Nagpasalamat sila si President-elect Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. ug incoming Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio sa mga Sugboanon sa suporta ug botos nga gihatag hinungdan sa ilang kadaugan sa Mayo 9, 2022 nga piniliay.
Atol sa mass oathtaking sa One Cebu party, unang nagpasalamat si Duterte-Carpio sa mga Sugbuanon ingon sa mga opisyal nga nitabang ug nipakita sa ilang suporta sa kadaugan.
“Palihog ko’g paabot sa inyong constituents when you do your inaguration sa inyong respective cities and municipalities and districts. Ang akong saad kaninyong tanan mao ang akong pakigduyog sa inyoha sa inyong pagserbisyo sa inyong respective cities and municipalities and know that I will be beside you when you discharge your duties to your respective constituents and you can call on the office of the Vice President for assistance sa inyohang mga trabaho,” matod niya sa Hunyo 28.
Sa iyang bahin, nagtuo si Bongbong nga historic ang gihatag nga botos ug suporta sa mga Sugboanon kaniya.
“I would like to thank of course sa ating mga kaibigang Cebuanos sa lahat ng tulong, lahat ng boto na ibinigay sa amin. Sa kasalukuyan, kami ay gumagawa ng plano para sa buong Pilipinas para sa ekonomiya. Malaking bahagi ng planong ‘yan ang Cebu because Cebu is still the number one province,”dugang niya.
Gawas sa mga Sugbuanon, iya usab gipasalamatan si Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia sa tibuok nga suporta niini atol sa piniliay.
“Our Madame Governor has been an immense help to us and everything that we have been doing and not only to this election but even previous to that. So it would also be a good break for me to visit Cebu and greet all my friends here for the job well done and we thanked them for all the help that they gave us,”asoy ni Marcos.
Si Marcos nakakuha og moabot sa 1.5 milyones ka botos gikan sa mga Sugboanon samtang moabot usab sa 1.7 milyones ka botos ang nakuha ni Duterte-Carpio.
