Si Land Transportation Office-Central Visayas (LTO 7) Director Victor Emmanuel Caindec nipahimangno sa mga private motor vehicle inspection centers (PMVICs) nunot sa mga taho nga dunay gituyo nila og hagbong sa inspeksyon nga sakyanan aron makapangilkil.
Ang mga pasangil nga nadawat sa ahensya nagsumikad human gisugdan sa LTO ang pagpatuman sa online renewal alang sa pagparehistro sa pipila ka mga buhatan sa nasod.
“I heard a ‘sumbong’ that some PMVICs threaten to fail your inspection if you don’t get the ‘package’ (which includes registration),” matod ni Caindec sa Facebook post niadtong Pebrero 22, 2023.

“We are gathering details through complaints and we urge the public to report it to us so that we can investigate and we can file necessary legal actions against these PMVICs,” matod niya.
Dugang pa ni Caindec nga nakadawat og reklamo ang ilang ahensya gikan sa usa ka PMVIC nga nahimutang sa Sugbo.
“We cannot divulge the identity of the PMVIC since we have yet to gather more details on the allegation,” pagpasabot niya.
Sumala sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) Memorandum Circular 2019-009 sa “Revised guidelines for the authorization of private motor vehicle inspection centers (PMVICs),” ang awtorisadong PMVIC “alleged to have violation(s) is issued a Show Cause Order sa Authorization Committee.”
Ang mga PMVIC nga mapamatud-an nga sad-an sa paglapas sa mga termino ug kondisyon sa ilang “Authorization Certificate” ug ang mga giya nga matod sa departamento mahimong mag-atubang sa minimum nga silot nga P200,000 ug 30 ka adlaw nga pagsuspenso ug hangtod sa pagkanselar sa ilang pagtugot.
Ang LTO nagsugod sa online renewal sa mga motor vehicle registration pinaagi sa Land Transportation and Management System (LTMS) portal niadtong Pebrero ning tuiga.
Ang online renewal sa rehistrasyon subay sa pagtuman sa LTO sa Republic Act 11032 sa “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018,” pinasubay sa hingpit nga pagpatuman sa LTMS. (PR)
