Ang Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) 7 nihatag og ekipo alang sa Solid Waste Management (SWM) sa 26 ka local government unit (LGUs) sa lalawigan sa Bohol, Hulyo 20, 2022.
Ang EMB 7 pinangulohan ni EMB Regional Director Maribel Munsayac maoy nangunay sa pagtunol sa mga ekipo nga nagkantidad og tag P1 milyon matag usa ngadto sa mga opisyal sa Bohol pinangulohan ni Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado sa dakbayan sa Tagbilaran.
“In the pursuit of the Environmental Management Bureau to provide comprehensive assistance to our LGUs, we have turned over 26 equipment worth a million each. The said equipment will help our LGUs to manage their waste well,” sumala sa pamahayag sa EMB-7 ngadto sa media.
Ang mga LGU nga nakadawat mao ang Alicia, Balilihan, Batuan, Bien Unido, Bilar, Calape, Catigbian, Clarin, Cortes, Dagohoy, Dauis, Dimiao, Garcia-Hernandez, Trinidad, Lila, Loay, Loboc, Mabini, Maribojoc, Pilar, Sagbayan, San Isidro, San Miguel, Sevilla, Siera Bullones ug Sikatuna.
Lakip sa mga ekipo nga ilang mapahimuslan mao ang rotary composter with biodegradable shredder ug solar powered CCTV camera nga gikatakdang iinstalar sa mga LGU nga benepisyaryo sa tagsa-tagsa nila ka mga lugar.
Si Engr. Cindylyn Cabrera-Pepito, EMB-7 information officer, nagkanayon nga 35 ka mga LGU ang hatagan og samang ekipo sa Central Visayas ug ang laing siyam nagagikan sa Negros Oriental, Siquijor ug Cebu.
“To comprehensively implement RA 9003 has been an uphill battle not just from the national government agency but most especially from the LGUs. However, the EMB has strengthened our partnerships to all LGUs to achieve the primary objective of the aforementioned law. We will continue to provide assistance,” padayag ni Munsayac atol sa iyang pagpamulong.
Kini maoy ikaupat nga tuig diin nanghatag ang EMB-7 sa susamang kahimanan alang sa solid waste management ngadto sa mga LGU nga iyang sakop.
