Sukwahi sa nigawas nga taho, giklaro ni Liloan Mayor Christina Frasco nga di tinuod ang maong impormasyon.
"Upon thorough verification by our Liloan Covid-19 operations center, we have no record of a 35-year old male from Liloan testing positive of covid-19 or of the new variant in the month of January and February," asoy ni Frasco sa opisyal nga pamahayag sa Pebrero 6, 2021.
Matod ni Frasco nga iyang nahinabi si Dr. Jaime Bernadas, pangu sa Department of Health (DOH) sa Central Visayas, diin giklaro niini nga ang naasoyng pasyente taga Sta. Ana Manila, di taga Liloan.
"DOH Region 7 records would show that there is no such person from Liloan testing positive of the new covid-19 variant," matod sa mayor.
Dugang ni Frasco nga ang maong taho nihatag og kahadlok sa iyang mga konstituente.
Andam ang lokal nga kagamhanan nga mosuporta sa mga lakang o imbestigasyon ug pakisusi nga himuon sa DOH labot sa hitabo.
"The premature release to the public of unverified information with zero coordination with our LGU, is a great concern as it sows unecessary panic and calls to question proper case management notwithstanding that our LGU has exhausted all efforts in the past year to protect our people from this pandemic...,"matod ni Frasco.

Samtang si Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony "Samsam" Gullas niklaro nga ang 54 anyos nga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) nga gikan sa Dubai wa makataak sa siyudad dihang duna pa kini sakit.
Sa pag-abot sa mao nga OFW, diretso siyang gi-monitor sa mga health official ug gi-quarantine sa usa ka hotel nga accredited sa DOH human makuhaig swab.
Human makaplagi nga siya positibo sa Covid-19, siya gibalhin og usa ka tambalanan sa kagamhanan.

"I was told that the UK variant case from Talisay City has not set foot in our city since he arrived in the country last month. He only set foot when he was deemed recovered by doctors from a hospital in Cebu City," matod ni Gullas sa iyang Facebook post.

"This case is interesting as the swabbing was conducted in Sta. Ana in Manila on Jan. 17, 2021 and we have no details as to whereabouts now," sulti niya sa mga sakop sa media sa Biyernes sa gabii.
