KON kaniadto iyang gitamay ang desinyo sa Terminal 2 sa Mactan Cebu International Airport, karon gidayeg na kini ni Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña.
"They took up the challenge and came up with a beautiful airport," nagkanayon si Osmeña.
"It's ugly and looks like a poultry farm. I think they should transfer that to Bantayan because it is where the poultry products are abundant," matod sa mayor sa interview sa SunStar Cebu niadtong 2013 kalabot sa terminal.
Niadtong higayuna, nitambag siya sa pag-usab sa desinyo.
Si Osmeña niinsister kagahapon nga ang desinyo nga iyang gisaway kaniadto, lahi na karon.
"That was not the original design. They're trying to pretend that it's the original (design).... If I did not pressure them, they will not take up the challenge, we will have the ugliest airport in the Philippines," matod niya.
Gipahigayon niadtong Huwebes ang inagurasyon sa bag-ong terminal sa MCIA nga gipangulohan ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte.
Gidayeg niya ang maong airport sa talagsaong disenyo niini kon itandi sa ubang mga tugpahanan sa laing nasod nga mura og mga ospital ug parehas ra ang mga disenyo.
Dungang usab ni Osmeña nga ang pagtukod sa bag-ong terminal mamahimong usa sa mga paagi sa pag-usbaw sa turismo sa Sugbo. Kini dunay hotel ug casino. (Loydin Frill Chavez, CNU Comm. Intern)
