Kini human gilibkas ni Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia ang iyang unang kamandoan may labot sa pag limit sa mga mosulod nga OFWs ug ROFs sa Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA).
Si Garcia niluwat sa Executive Order (EO) No. 1 - 2022 labot sa paglibkas sa unang kamandoan pag banned sa OFWs ug ROFs sa MCIA ilabi na kadtong way panimalay sa Sugbo.
“All ROFs and OFWs shall be allowed entry into the Province of Cebu starting on the above-mentioned time and date, provided, they undergo a five day quarantine period as prescribed by applicable IATF-MEID (Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease) resolutions,” matod sa tipik sa EO.
Temporaryong gipugngan ni Garcia ang pagtugpa sa mga dili Sugboanon dinhi sa Sugbo aron mopaubos sa kwarantina tungod sa kadaghan sa mga nagkinahanglan og puy anan tungod sa kadaot ni Bagyong Odette.
Niadtong higayuna fully- booked ang hotels sa Sugbo.
Gipasabot ni Garcia nga subay sa nanglabay nga mga adlaw, nagpadayon ang improvement sa sitwasyon sa Sugbo lakip na ang hotel occupancy.
“Now, the situation has vastly improved, and power has been restored in various parts of the city and the province of course,” matod ni Garcia.
