Si Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia maoy nipili ni Dejano aron modumala sa paugnat sa kusog sa dakbayan dili pa lang tantong dugay.
Gipulihan ni Dejano sa posisyon si John Pages, kinsa magpabilin gihapon sa CCSC isip commissioner.
“I am deeply honored and grateful for the trust and confidence that Mayor Raymund Alvin Garcia has placed in me by appointing me as chairman of the Cebu City Sports Commission,” matod ni Dejano.
Isip CCSC chairman, nagtinguha si Dejano nga mas palapdan pa ang sports program sa dakbayan.
“It is with great enthusiasm that I accept this responsibility, and I am excited to contribute to the continued growth of sports in our vibrant city. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my predecessor, Mr. John Pages, for his remarkable leadership over the past years,” dugang ni Dejano.
Niini pa lang ka sayo, ngangandam na si Dejano sa nag-una niyang mayorihiyang mga proyekto nga mao ang Cebu Sports Summit ug PWD Athletes Classification Workshop.
“I hope to live up to the expectations of our beloved mayor and work together with all stakeholders to continue developing and improving sports in Cebu. Thank you once again for this incredible opportunity,” batbat ni Dejano.
Nabantog si Dejano sa Cebu sports tungod sa iyang dedikasyon sa pagtabang aron maalim ang nangaangol nga collegiate ug professional athletes.
Sa iyang kontribyusyon, nakadawat og mga pasidungog si Dejano sa Sportswriters Association of Cebu (SAC), lakip na niini ang “Sportsman of the Year.”/ JBM, ESL
