Nanghinaot si Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia nga tiwason sa mosunod nga administrasyon sa City Hall ang nasugdan niyang mga proyekto sama sa finishing touches sa Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC), mga school building, flood mitigation projects, ug uban pa.
Gipadayag kini ni Garcia atol sa press conference sa Lunes, Mayo 19, 2025, uban sa kompirmasyon nga nakadawat siya og suwat gikan ni mayor-elect Nestor Archival alang sa meeting, aron sugdan ang paghisgot sa transition aron hapsay nga mahitabo ang pagtugyan sa liderato sa City Hall.
Goitumbok ni Garcia ang mga dagkong proyekto nga maglakip sa pagpirma sa kontrata sa finishing touches sa CCMC, ang pagtukod sa lima ka school buildings, pagpamutang og mga ekipo ug personnel sa family health centers, pagtukod og slope protection projects sa mountain barangays, transitional housing, ang master drainage plan, pagpalit sa mga
luna alang sa Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), ug ang paghatag og libreng maintenance nga mga tambal sa senior citizens.
“I just received this letter today. Nalipay lang sad ko kay murag nag-agad siya nako kay busy pa baya kaayo ta kay we still have remaining one month and a half to govern here in the City of Cebu,” matod ni Garcia.
Giandam na ni Garcia ang molangkub sa iyang transition team nga maglakip sa department heads, mga representante sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), ang city secretary, ug mga representative sa matag accredited civil society organization (CSO) ug people’s organization (PO).
“I have already did my part in so far as transition is concerned, and I’m very very serious that we don’t want any hiccups or obstacles to occur during the transition from this administration to the next,” dugang niya. / JPS
