Nangulo si LTO 7 Regional Director Glen G. Galario, uban sa mga representante sa nagkalainlaing ahensiya sa gobiyerno, LTO-accredited driving schools, key transport operators, truckers associations, motorcycle clubs, ug local government units sa kickoff activity sa IL Corso, South Road Properties, Dakbayan sa Sugbo.
Sa iyang pamahayag, si Galario nipahinumdom sa publiko nga ang luwas nga dalan dili lang usa ka responsibilidad apan usa ka commitment—“a commitment to life.”
“This year’s DOTr and LTO theme, ‘Drive to Protect: Safe Streets, Safe Children,’ highlights what’s truly at stake: the lives of our most vulnerable road users. Every child deserves to walk, ride, and travel safely—free from the fear of accidents caused by neglect, impatience, or lack of awareness,” nagkanayon si Galario.
Nidugang siya nga ang LTO 7 uban sa mga law enforcement, road safety advocates, transport groups, civil society, ug ang private sector sa Central Visayas, nagtudlo og disiplina, respeto ug pagpaambit og responsibilidad diha sa kadalanan.
“Let this month be more than a campaign. Let it be a movement—a movement where every driver, every pedestrian, every policymaker commits to life, not just as a slogan,” sigon ni Galario.
Ang mga dagkong local government units sa Cebu lakip ang Cebu City, Mandaue City, ug Talisay City, nipadayag og suporta sa kampanya sa LTO 7 alang sa road safety.
Ang partner agency sa LTO 7, ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) 7, girepresentahan ni Regional Director Col. Eduardo Montealto Jr., nihatag og safety tips ngadto sa mga nanambong nga mga driver.

“Our partner driving schools have committed to providing 2,700 discount vouchers for TDC courses. These vouchers will be readily available to the public throughout the week-long event,” matod ni Galario.
