Gibutyag ni Cebu Provincial Governor Pamela Baricuatro nga posibleng wala makatuman ang Kapitolyo sa Fire Safety Code tungod sa kakuwang sa fire emergency exits ug fire extinguishers.
Atol sa press conference niadtong Lunes, Hulyo 7, 2025, iyang gipahibalo nga samtang iyang gi-inspeksyon ang sulod sa edipisyo sa Kapitolyo, wala siyay nakita nga mga Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machines nga importante alang sa dinaliang paghatag og first aid.
“It’s really a shock to be going around the Capitol and there’s no fire extinguishers lying around the corridors,” matod pa sa gobernador.
Sa dihang gipangutana kon wala ba makatuman ang Kapitolyo sa Fire Safety Code, siya mitubag, “I supposed so.”
Samtang ang Bureau of Fire Protection Region (BFP) 7 nisaad nga motabang sa pagbutang og fire extinguishers sulod sa Kapitolyo.
Gisugyot sab sa BFP 7 ang pagbansay sa mga personnel sa matag departamento sa paghatag og first aid ug firefighting.
