Nanawagan si Presidente Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. sa katawhan’g Pilipino nga magpabiling lig-on ug malaumon sa kinabuhi sama ni Hesukristo samtang gihandum sa nasod ang Semana Santa.
Sa usa ka pamahayag, nahinumdom si Marcos sa pasyon, kamatayon ug pagkabanhaw ni Hesukristo nga matod niya usa ka ehemplo sa kaluoy ug paghatag sa kaugalingon.
Siya miingon nga bisan pa nga nasayod si Jesukristo nga ang iyang panaw ngadto sa Kalbaryo dili sayon, siya masinugtanong misunod, nag-antus sa mga kalisdanan sa ngalan sa gugma ug kaluwasan.
“Like Christ, may we remain resilient and optimistic in life, despite all the challenges that come our way. May all the adversities that we face shape us into better persons, capable of understanding and charity towards our brethren. By His death on the cross at Golgotha, He showed us that our limitations and frailties as human beings do not hinder us for greater causes,” matod ni Marcos.
“We are comforted by the triumph of Easter, which uncovered the success of the Lord's ultimate sacrifice. May the realization that a loving God embraced humanity to be with us inspire perseverance through tribulations and be an encouragement to our brothers and sisters.
