Bag-o lang gipirmahan ni Presidente Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Executive Order (EO) 84, nga nag-umento sa inadlaw nga sustento nga allowance alang sa mga military personnel gikan sa P150 ngadto sa P350 matag adlaw, sugod Enero 1, 2025.
Ang maong mando gipahibalo sa publiko sa opisyal nga Facebook page sa Philippine Official Gazette, nga giluwatan niadtong Marso 14, 2025.
Ang umento alang kini sa tanang mga opisyal ug enlisted personnel sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), lakip na ang trainees, probationary officers, reservists, ug cadets.
Ang EO nagkanayon nga "it is imperative to increase the subsistence allowance of all officers and enlisted personnel of the AFP to protect and promote their welfare, in recognition of their sacrifices and perseverance in defending and upholding the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity."
Ang Department of National Defense (DND) ug Department of Budget and Management (DBM) mao ang mirekomendar sa maong umento, nga mikutlo sa panginahanglan aron pagsiguro sa igong inadlaw-adlaw nga sustento sa mga sundalo.
"The DND and DBM recommend increasing the subsistence allowance of all officers and enlisted personnel of the AFP," tipik sa maong EO.
Matod sa maong EO nga "it has been observed that the current subsistence allowance of AFP personnel is no longer adequate to meet the daily sustenance needs of an active-duty soldier, which is essential for their well-being and performance of their duties."

Ang sustento nga allowance alang sa mga opisyal ug enlisted personnel sa AFP-lakip na ang mga trainees, probationary second lieutenant/ensigns nga gipaubos sa military training, citizen military training cadets sa summer camp training, reserve officers ug enlisted reservists nga gipaubos sa training ug assembly/mobilization tests, mga miyembro sa Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit, ug mga kadete, umentohan gikan sa P150 ngadto sa P350 matag adlaw.
