Gisaulog sa Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) ang ilang Golden Anniversary diin gihatagan og bili ang mga kalamposan nga nagdala og pride ug himaya sa nasud sa pang-internasyonal nga natad.
Gipadayag ni Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Patrick Gregorio ang mensahe alang ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. didto sa Grand Ballroom sa Okada Manila sa miaging weekend.
“Since its founding in 1976, the PTA has remained steadfast in its mission of developing taekwondo in the Philippines. More than a sport, taekwondo has become a means of cultivating discipline, pursuing excellence and building character among generations of Filipinos,” matud pa sa mensahe sa Presidente.
Si Gregorio, nga nitugyan sa iyang bug-os nga suporta sa taekwondo, niduyog sa pagbati sa Presidente nga sa lima ka dekada, ang PTA nakatabang sa batan-ong mga Pilipino nga makat-on sa bili sa courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control ug indomitable spirit.
“Every year, over a hundred competitions are conducted across the country, alongside grassroots initiatives, training programs, and other activities that bring taekwondo closer to our communities,” sumala pa sa mensahe sa Presidente.
“Through these efforts, the sport has reached even our farthest areas and given thousands of Filipino children the opportunity to discover their potential, push their limits, and learn the value of hard work,” dugang pa niini.
