A WORKER of a food chain survived although wounded in a hold-up incident in a west coast village in Zamboanga City, the police reported Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) Station 9 identified the victim as Michael Gregorio, 25, who was in-charge of chicken delivery and collection of store sales of Inasal Restaurant.
The police said the incident happened around 1:10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, at the food chain's outlet in Zone 8, Ayala village.
Investigation showed that the victim was collecting to store sales when two unidentified persons appeared and declared hold-up while asking if they can buy cigarettes.
The victim was shot after he tried to resist the suspects. They grabbed the victim's sling bag and fled.
Gregorio was rushed to the hospital for treatment by his co-workers. (SunStar Zamboanga)
