MADASIGON karon ang usa ka grupo sa mga doktor sa Davao City, nga gitawag og "UniTeaMD", kinsa nipadayag sa ilang suporta sa kandidatura ni UniTeam presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. ug vice presidential bet Sara Duterte-Carpio.
Sa press conference niadtong Sabado, Abril 9, si UniTeaMD Davao Region lead convenor Dr. Jett Lu miingon nga ang ilang grupo gilangkuban sa nagkalain-laing mga mananambal ug uban pang healthcare personnel gikan sa nagkalain-laing rehiyon sa Mindanao, nga mao ang Davao, Soccsksargen, ug Caraga regions.
Si Lu miingon nga ang ilang grupo nagsuporta sa adbokasiya sa UniTeam tandem, diin ang positibo nga gipaluyohan sa BBM-Sara UniTeam kusog nga milanog sa mga trabahante sa industriya sa panglawas.
“We want to give a face that there are doctors who support the UniTeam as we share the vision of unity. We want to spread only good vibes and not negative campaigning,” ingon ni Lu.
Dugang niya, “The optimistic approach we employ in the management of disease parallels the positive approach of the UniTeam in solving the country's problems, and in conducting their campaign."
Gitumbok usab niya nga ang BBM-Sara tandem mao lamang ang tandem nga nipadayag og kaandam nga magpadayon sa mga makaayo nga programa sa kasamtangang administrasyon.
“We are optimistic about attaining sustainable growth and development in the next six years, and hopefully, beyond,” niya pa.
Si Dr. Sergio Demontaño Jr., UniTeaMD convenor sa Soccsksargen, niingon sab nga si Marcos, atol sa usa ka chance talk sa usa ka press conference sa General Santos City, misaad nga tapuson ang Covid-19 pandemic sa iyang administrasyon.
“He (Marcos) vowed to give priority to the front-liners. He understands our plight during the pandemic and he assured us that he will help us,” ingon niya.
Lakip sa mga isyu nga gipatungha atol sa komperensya, sumala ni Demontaño, mao ang problema sa PhilHealth claims.
Samtang, si Dr. Asterio Ronquillo, convenor sa Caraga Region, niawhag sa mga doktor sa pag-apil sa ilang adbokasiya.
“We are still confronted with the threats of Covid-19. We urged other doctors to join our cause because this tandem will give us solutions to these problems,” ingon ni Ronquillo.
