Gipahimug-atan sa Local Government Unit (LGU) nga ang Civil Registrar way hurisdiksiyon sa birth registrations sa local civil registrars sa mga siyudad ug munisipyo gawas sa Davao City, apil na kadtong tua sa Davao del Sur.
“The City Government of Davao strongly refutes these false claims against the Davao City CRO and we confirm that no employees from the office have been filed with cases related to the said incident,” pahayag sa City Government of Davao, Lunes, Marso 24, 2025.
Nigawas ang pahayag human sa mga taho gikan sa daghang mga news outlets nga nag-angkon nga ang Civil Registrar nalambigit sa illegal nga registration sa mga Chinese nationals sa Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
Giawhag sa LGU ang media organizations nga mo- "exercise responsible journalism" pinaagi sa pagsusi sa mga kamatuoran una ipublikar ang mga istorya.
