DAVAO CITY — Opisyal nang gilusad sa Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) sa Davao City ang ilang unang mga robotics-assisted rehabilitation nga ekipo kung diin nagtimaan sa dakong kauswagan sa pagtunol og pisikal ug rehabilitation medicine sa rehiyon.
Sumala ni Dr. Maria Luisa P. Santos-Carpio, tsirman sa SPMC Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (DPRM), ang pagpaapil sa robotics sa therapy nagrepresenta og masangapotanon nga lakang sa pagmoderno sa rehabilitative services sa Mindanao.
“This is something to help ensure that maximal recovery can be attained. That is the goal of robotics and rehabilitation,” pagpasabot ni Santos-Carpio.

“Each patient is allocated one hour per session. That means if we have 8 hours of operation and everybody needs to undergo robotics treatment, that would be eight patients per day,” butyag ni Santos-Carpio.

“I firmly believe that this partnership will pave the way for a more integrated system of collaboration in the field of physical and rehabilitation medicine,” matud ni Audan.

“Right now, what we lack in Mindanao are rehab medicine specialists. We would like to ensure that the care the rehab offered to the patients will be served all over Mindanao,” pagpatin-aw ni Santos-Carpio. (PR)
