GITAHO sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) nga ang Bucana Bridge Project naa na sa 92 porsiyento nga pagkahuman.
Sa taho sa DPWH, gipahayag nga ang Bucana Bridge Project, nga maoy "key part" sa Davao City Coastal Road, naa na sa 92.3 porsiyento nga pagkahuman. Atol sa pinakaulahing inspeksiyon ni DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain, gikanayon nga ang proyekto gilauman nga matapos sa katapusang kuwarter sa 2025.
Matud ni Sadain nga ang konstruksiyon sa tulay lig-ong naga-uswag, uban ang binulan nga progress rate sa mga tres hangtud kuwatro porsiyento. Dugang pa niini nga ilang gilauman nga ang proyekto moabot na og 95 porsiyento nga completion rate sa July 2025.
“This bridge is important because it connects to the Davao Coastal Road, making travel in and out of Davao City faster and easier, and strengthening the overall road network in the Davao Region,” paghulagway niya niadtong Hunyo 27, 2025.

Pipila ka mga dagkong "construction milestones" alang sa Bucana Bridge apil ang komplesyon sa "structural connections between abutment 0 and pier 1, pier 1 and pier 2, the sub-base laying and compaction of the approach road, and the construction of the drainage system, concrete fencing, and slope protection works at the abutment".
Ang departamento ug project’s contractor naa na karon sa pagpangandam alang sa pagkonekta sa pier 2 ug pier 3 sa Hulyo 2, 2025, apil na ang pagkonekta tali sa "pier 5 and abutment 1".
