3 drug suspects fall in Eastern Visayas

POLICE and anti-narcotics agents apprehended three suspected drug personalities in Eastern Visayas towns Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

In Sogod, Southern Leyte, the joint operatives arrested Vincent Rosales, 41, listed as a high-value individual of the town.

Purchased from the suspect were two sachets believed to be containing suspected shabu, while confiscated from his possession and control were six sachets containing suspected shabu and P1,000 buy-bust money with serial number H770587.

Another suspect, Alexander Otadoy, was arrested in Hindang, Leyte for allegedly selling five sachets believed to be containing shabu.

The operatives also seized from the suspect’s possession and control P1,000 buy-bust money with serial number XA848863, digital weighing scale, and other personal items.

In Kawayan, Biliran, authorities arrested Romeo Ebajan, listed as top 5 of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the region.

Purchased from the suspect was one sachet containing suspected shabu while confiscated from his possession and control were four sachets believed to be containing shabu and P500 buy-bust money with serial number MK586297, according to a report from Police Regional Office-Eastern Visayas.

The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (SunStar Philippines)
