Ex-drug surrenderer arrested anew in Leyte

A FORMER drug surrenderer was arrested again in an anti-illegal drug operation in Burauen, Leyte, Thursday, May 7.

Police identified the suspect as Erwin “Kim” Uy, 37, and a resident of Burauen town.

He was arrested at around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at Poblacion, District 3 of the said town.

Purchased from the suspect was one heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) as subject of sale.

Confiscated from his possession and control were two pieces heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu and P1,000 bill with serial number 609592 used as drug bust money, police said in a report.
