ARMED men have attacked the residence of Rogelio Daño, the president of Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) in Matalom, Leyte.
Police said the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on April 11 at Barangay Sta. Fe of the said municipality.
Cresilda Daño, the wife of the ABC president, told the police that while they were asleep, she heard a sound of a broken glass and discovered that the entire sliding door of their house was hit by a bullet.
She also found bullet holes in their vehicle which was parked inside the compound of their house.
Police Captain Ronald Puso of the Matalom Municipal Police Station said no one was hit during the attack.
Police are investigating on the motive of the shooting.
