A MAN identified as “Hero” admitted to raping and choking his five-year-old niece to death in Tanauan, Leyte Friday, September 4, 2020.
The victim’s body was found at the grassy area of Barangay Limbuhan Guti in Tanauan at 6:30 a.m. Friday, a day after she was declared missing by her parents on Thursday, September 3.
Tanauan chief of police Captain Delfin Bardillon said that the child’s mouth was covered with blood and her underwear was missing when they retrieved her body.
A personal grudge against the mother of the victim led the suspect to commit the crime, according to a report from RMN Tacloban.
