
THE 1102nd Infantry Brigade (1102Bde) has installed a new Sergeant Major, whose tasks is to serve as an adviser to the commander on matters related to enlisted personnel.
Installed on Monday, April 21, 2025, as the new 1102Bde Sergeant Major is Technical Sergeant Luisito Leones.
Colonel Alex Gagula, deputy commander of 1102Bde, led the installation ceremony held at Campo AKA that houses the brigade headquarters in Bual village, Luuk, Sulu.
In his remarks, Gagula congratulated Leones on his appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to lead and mentor the troops.
"TSg. Leones' wealth of experience and dedication to duty will undoubtedly contribute to the unit's continued success," the 1102Bde said, quoting Gagula as saying.
The 1102Bde said Leones brings with him years of experience, dedication, and a strong commitment to service, leadership, and the welfare of the enlisted force.
Leones expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to uphold the values of professionalism, integrity, and unity within the ranks.
The installation ceremony was attended by officers and enlisted personnel of the brigade, highlighting the significance of the Sergeant Major’s role as the principal enlisted advisor and bridge between the troops and the command.
