TWENTY-SIX employees of the City Government of Zamboanga have earned the “Cada Dia Temprano” Award for maintaining perfect punctuality and attendance throughout 2025.
The awarding of Certificate of Recognition was held during the flag-raising ceremony Monday, August 24, 2026, in front of City Hall.
The awardees had no recorded instances of tardiness, undertime, or absence from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
Mayor Khymer Olaso led the recognition of the 23 male and three female awardees.
The awardees include 18 permanent employees, seven are casual employees and one is a contractual employee.
Olaso presented the certificates and commended the recipients, encouraging all employees to emulate their exemplary performance.
Olaso highlighted their hard work, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to public service.
The awardees include nine from the City Administrator’s Office; five, City Mayor’s Office; three, Office of the City Agriculturists; two each from City Accountant’s Office and City Engineer’s Office; and, one each from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, City General Services Office, City Treasurer’s Office, Office of the City Veterinarian, and Office of the City Council.
The City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO) organized the recognition through the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (Praise) Committee.
The awarding ceremony was attended by Chief of Staff and Executive Secretary Celso Lobregat, City Administrator Percival Ramos, CHRMO Chief Marinyd Tingcang, and other members of the Praise Committee. (SunStar Zamboanga)
