A BUSINESSMAN was wounded in a gun attack in a west coast village of Zamboanga City, the police said Sunday, May 4, 2025.
The local police identified the victim as Walter Tong, of legal age.
The police said Tong was shot and wounded around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, May 4, in Talisayan village, 27 kilometers west of the city hall of Zamboanga.
The police said Tong was shot by one of two men riding tandem on a motorcycle that sped off after the incident.
The victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment while investigation continues to determine the motive and the suspects behind the incident. (SunStar Zamboanga)
