

THE City Government of Zamboanga unveiled on Monday, August 4, 2025, a newly completed two-story, six-classroom Technical Livelihood Education (TLE) building at Ayala National High School.
Funded by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Zamboanga Peninsula, the project formed part of the initiative of Mayor Khymer Olaso during his term as the then congressman of the first district.
Olaso expressed elation that the new facility will help strengthen educational infrastructure, foster a more conducive learning environment and support the academic and technical needs of ZamboangueƱo learners.
Olaso encouraged students and teachers to fully utilize the modern classrooms to sharpen their skills and prepare for future employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
The formal turnover ceremony was preceded by the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the blessing rites officiated by Reverend Fr. Rene Rivero on Friday, August 1. (SunStar Zamboanga)
